Grilled Tandoori Chicken using a Halogen Oven

Want to have tandoori chicken but don't have a tandoor oven? One can use almost any oven at the highest setting to achieve tandoor like effct. Here is my first attempt to create a nicely colored and spiced version of this dish. Best eaten with a squeeze of lime or lemon and eaten with leavened flat bread.




Ingredients
For Grilled Tandoori Chicken
1 large Chicken Breast (scored)
1 Tbs Garlic Ginger Paste
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
½ tsp Garam Masala
1 Tbs Red Chilly Powder
3 Tbs Plain Yoghurt
Salt to taste

Preparation
Clean the Chicken Breast, score the breast with shallow cuts so the spices can penetrate the chicken.
Add the spice mixture to the Chicken and add salt. Add the Yoghurt.
Let marinade for at least 2 hours
Grill in oven at 200C for 20 minutes or until cooked.
Serve hot.
