Sichuan Chilly Oil Chicken
Ingredients
For Sichuan Chilly Oil Chicken
- ½ small Chicken (cut into bite size)
- 1 Tbs Sichuan Peppercorns
- 4 cloves Garlic (chopped)
- 1 small Onion (chopped)
- 1 Tbs Red Chilly Flakes
- Soy Sauce
- Chinese Black Vinegar
- Salt
- Vegetable Oil
Preparation
- Roast the Sichuan Peppercorns. Cool and Pound into powder.
- Boil the Chicken in water and some salt until cooked.
- For Chilly oil, heat 3-4 Tbs Vegetable Oil in small pot.
- Add the Chilly Flakes, then Garlic and Onions and a pinch of Salt. Fry until everything is soften.
- Add the Sichuan Peppercorn powder. Let it sit for 5 min. Add 1 Tbs Soy Sauce and 1 Tbs Black Vinegar.
- Remove the cooked Chicken and mix well with the Chilly Oil.
