Meat Tacos with Fresh Tortillas




Ingredients
For Meat Tacos
- 2 cups Wheat Flour (for Tortillas)
- 1 cup minced Meat (lamb, mutton, beef)
- 2 clove Garlic (chopped)
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 2cm Carrot (chopped)
- 1 Tomato (chopped)
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 pinch dried Sage leaves
- 1 pinch Black Pepper
- 1 pinch Chilly Flakes
- Salt, Vegetable Oil

For Garnishing
- Shredded Cabbage
- Chopped Onions
- Chopped Tomatoes
- Sour Cream/ Yoghurt

Preparation
- Make the Meat sauce. Heat pan, with 2 Tbs Vegetable oil.
- Fry the Garlic, Onion, Carrot until soft.
- Add minced Meat, fry
- Add the dry Herbs and Spices. Fry.
- Add 1 Tbs Flour and fry.
- Add Tomatoes and ½ cup Water. Season with Salt.
- Cook until broken down and thick almost dry.
- Make the Flour Tortillas. Add a pinch of Salt to Flour and add sufficient Water to make a soft dough. Divide into small balls, if needed, use a roller and pan roast the Tortillas.
- Assemble the Tortillas with the filling and garnishing.
- Enjoy.
