Japanese Gyozas





Ingredients
For Gyoza
- 1 cup Minced Meat (Pork/Chicken)
- 1 small Onion (finely minced)
- 1 clove Garlic (finely minced)
- 1 cup Cabbage (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbs Cornstarch
- Gyoza skins
- Salt/Pepper
- Vegetable Oil for flying
- Water

For Seasoning (mix together)
- 2 cm Ginger (thinly shredded)
- 1 Tbs Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbs Dark Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar

Preparation
- For Gyoza, mix the Meat, Onion, Garlic and Cornstarch, and season with Salt/Pepper.
- Add the chopped Cabbage into the mixture.
- Wrap the mixture in the Gyoza skins in a pleated method.
- Heat up non-stick pan with 2 Tbs Vegetable Oil.
- Arrange Gyozas in the pan, and fry the Gyoza for 1 min, then cover the pan for 1 min.
- Add in ¼ cup water into the hot pan, cover and let the Gyoza steam.
- After water has dried up, remove cover and let Gyoza crisp up in the bottom.
- Plate up and serve with Ginger and Seasoning
- Serve and Enjoy!
