Super Crispy Malaysia Pisang Goreng (Fried Banana Fritters)

Fried banana fritters are popular in many countries around the world as one of the most delicious dessert or tea time snack. In Malaysia, it's known as Pisang Goreng (Fried Banana). 
Here is one amazing recipe for making double coated super crunchy and crispy Pisang Goreng. Recipe and full instructional video in the blog post below.
One of my favorite snacks during the evening. Easy to make and ingredients are readily available. Best to be eaten with hot coffee or tea.

Ingredients
2 under-ripe bananas
Wet batter: 1 cup flour, 1 pinch turmeric, 1 pinch salt
Dry batter: 2 cups flour, 1 pinch turmeric, 1 pinch salt

Method
1. Skin and half the bananas lengthwise
2. Mix the wet batter with water to a thick consistency
3. Sprinkle just enough water over the dry batter and work with hands to form small crumbs
4. Coat the banana with wet batter, then coat with dry batter and fry in medium heat until golden brown
