Penang Style Fried Char Kuay Teow


Penang Style Fried Char Kuay Teow. One of the most popular street food in Malaysia. Every state will have its own special version. This is a must try dish when you come to Malaysia. Now you can make it at home.

Ingredients

1/2 pack of Kuay Teow flat rice noodles (separate strands)
2 cloves garlic chopped
1/2 sausage & fish cake sliced
1 egg
1 cup mung bean sprouts
Few sprigs of chives
1 Tbs chili paste (chili boh or equivalent)
1 Tbs dark soy sauce
1 Tbs light soy sauce
Salt/Pepper to taste

Preparation
1. Heat oil in work, fry garlic until fragrant
2. Add in fish cake and sausage, fry for 1 min
3. Add in 1/3 of the bean sprouts, fry for 1 min
4. Add in the Kuay Teow, fry for 1 min
5. Add in all the seasoning, sauce, fry for 1 min
6. Add in egg, fry for 1 min
7. Add in balance vegetables and fry until wilted
8. Serve hot
